How To Increase High Top Dining Table

Small High Top Dining Table

Do you like everything on your high top dining table except your height or cannot afford to buy a new one? Raising the height of your dining table is easy to do and it only costs a fraction of the price of a new table. Furniture elevators are ideal because they work not only for beds (most are sold as bed lifts) but work with dining tables, thus raising the height of 3 to 5 inches. You can buy furniture elevators online or in your local bed and bathroom store or hardware store. Furniture elevators come in a variety of styles and finishes, painted in shades of wood, so you are bound to find a color and style that will complement your dining room table.

Put the chairs on the table and open the package of four furniture elevators. Lift one end of the dining table while your assistant places a furniture lift under each leg. Carefully lower that end until both legs are balanced in the furniture risers. Open Lift the other end of the dining table, place the remaining furniture elevators under each leg and lower the table. Make sure each leg is centered on each furniture lift before putting the chairs in place.

If your dining table rests on a dark carpet, you can choose a dark-colored set of furniture risers that blend in with the carpet. On the contrary, if you have a light carpet, choose a light-colored furniture elevator.
